Brian Quintenz, the Trump-nominated CFTC chair, has publicly shared private text exchanges with Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. The messages reveal the twins sought assurances regarding pending CFTC enforcement actions as their crypto exchange prepares for an IPO.

The communications show Tyler Winklevoss forwarding a June complaint alleging CFTC staff misconduct in Gemini's legal proceedings. He accused the agency of "lawfare trophy hunting" and pressed Quintenz on aligning with Trump's regulatory reform mandate. Quintenz refused to make commitments, promising only a "fair and reasonable review."

Following this exchange, the Winklevoss brothers allegedly approached President TRUMP to delay Quintenz's confirmation. The released texts suggest a coordinated effort to influence regulatory oversight during a critical period for Gemini's market ambitions.
